Paul DeGiacomo, Project Director, Support to Egyptian Primary Schooling Project (STEPS II), Egypt
Paul DeGiacomo has more than 25 years’ experience in social development, covering community development, public sector reform (including health and education sectors), NGO capacity building and poverty reduction. He has worked in both a technical and managerial capacity. Paul also has significant experience in developing and implementing results-based management monitoring and evaluation systems. He has had field postings in Senegal, Thailand and Egypt and worked on short-term assignments in Jordan, Tibet, the Philippines, Malawi, Lesotho, Swaziland, Bangladesh, Namibia, India and Peru. He has also worked in North America on refugee resettlement and community development issues. Paul has a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration on community development and social policy, which has equipped him to address social development through a multi-dimensional perspective.
