JUDGE's overall goal is to strengthen justice sector capacity in support of more transparent and accountable governance. The five-year project supports the capacity development of judicial training institutions and associated actors in the legal-judicial sector so that the rights of Vietnamese citizens can be respected, promoted and protected in a more efficient, effective and equitable manner. It has three mutually supporting components: judicial training development; court administration and procedural reform; and civil society engagement and community-level access.
