We provided specialists in cropping systems, farm business management, agricultural support services, livestock management and environmental impacts to design and implement baseline data surveys and train Uzbek students of Tashkent Agricultural University in survey techniques.

Agriteam designed and developed a course to introduce small- to medium-sized agrifood producers to the export marketing process. The course was designed to be delivered in eight modules over an eight-month period, and combined home study with one-day workshops. Materials for each module included a textbook, participant's workshop guide, instructor's guide and workplace assignments, as well as a comprehensive bibliography, list of government and industry contacts, guide to government assistance programs and other resource material. Agriteam managed the project and coordinated a team of 10 curriculum development specialists with expertise in agricultural economics, agrifood export markets, international finance, business planning, international trade regulations and adult education.

In association with Consortium for International Development, we provided technical assistance to improve the ecology of grasslands in Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province by conducting trial experiments to demonstrate technologies and management methods for rehabilitating degraded grasslands.

In association with S.A.I.T. and The University of Alberta, Agriteam increased the capacity of institutions in Thailand in the food processing sector with an emphasis on fish and seafood to help the industry maintain its competitive advantage in Southeast Asia.
