Alix Yule, Education and Governance Specialist
Alix has 20 years of international development experience as project director and field manager of a variety of bilateral projects in the governance and education sectors. She has directed large municipal governance projects in the Philippines and Sri Lanka, a government capacity building project in Malawi, education reform projects in South Africa, India and Tanzania and NGO strengthening projects in southern Africa. She was the team leader for the design of three bilateral projects and has conducted numerous monitoring and evaluation assignments. Alix has extensive experience in results-based management, performance measurement, participatory practices, institutional strengthening and capacity development. She is currently the project director of the Local Governance Support Program in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Alix has a MEd in Comparative, International and Development Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto and a BA from York University.
