Project and Investment Feasibility Studies
A core Agriteam capability is providing our clients with the information they require to finalize their decisions to start or expand their business, or to determine the feasibility of an investment or projected plan of action.
Our technical specialists possess extensive industry experience and can conduct physical and economic feasibility studies, social/gender assessments, site assessments, industry analysis, environmental scans; and provide contacts with local and national governments. We are also well practiced in working with the private sector to capitalize on opportunities through CIDA’s Industrial Cooperation Program (CIDA-INC).
Our project and investment feasibility work includes:
- assessing the potential for biofuel production and processing in Senegal and Cameroon
- assisting Canadian farm equipment manufacturers to develop supply chains in China and Mongolia
- assessing potential commercial fish and game production and processing in northern Canada
- helping a Canadian company establish a canola crushing facility in China
- assisting another Canadian company to develop meat processing facilities in Uruguay
Each study and set of recommendations provided by Agriteam is also prepared with a corporate social responsibility (CSR) perspective, which enables the client to incorporate issues of social, environmental and economic sustainability into their plans.
