The signing ceremony took place in conjunction with the Ukrainian State Visit of Prime Minister Groysman to Canada. Under the Memorandum, EDGE will lend technical assistance, including Canadian expertise and best practices, to enhance the operations of the SCMU, Ukraine’s equivalent to Canada’s Privy Council Office. The objective is to increase the Secretariat’s efficiency and effectiveness with supporting the Cabinet of Ministers’ policy decision-making, implementation and monitoring processes. Signatories to the agreement were the State Secretary to the Secretariat of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine, Mr. Volodymyr Bondarenko, and EDGE’s Field Director, Tawnia Ammar.
